When all the doors are barred shut, look for windows. 

Open doors are too easy to walk through. The problem is that if a person keeps on taking the easy way, there is no growth to be had.

Windows are different. Windows require you to climb and to jump. If it’s closed, take out your axe and do the work. Almost any window can be forced open. People don’t use windows to get to places because it’s too inconvenient. Do it anyway.

Adversity makes a person learn how to frame situations and opportunities differently. In the end, you will end up stronger and will gain a fresher perspective.

Stop waiting for people to open doors for you. Smash those windows. If you get hurt, wear your scars proud. It’s not being proud to be better than anyone else, but being proud that you were able to best the odds. Be proud that you didn’t quit when it got tough.

Give me back those broken pieces and I will assemble them into a beautiful work of art. There is beauty in adversity. In every war, heroes must reach a point of no return where they have no choice but to press on. Without that point, no true song of triumphant victory can be sung.

We, the young, must do our part. Curses can be broken if we stand together.
